Exclusive Service
'Back to Nature'
A majority of our beautiful participants struggle with mental health issues on a daily basis.
To help with this, one of the activities/programs we offer is ‘Back to Nature’.
Spending time in nature significantly benefits mental health by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression symptoms. Studies show that nature exposure can improve mood, boost self-esteem, and enhance focus. It can also help regulate sleep patterns and reduce the effects of conditions like Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
Done at a pace that’s comfortable for our participants we, bushwalk and connect back to our roots. There’s no commitment to talk, we just walk and enjoy the tranquility and peace that comes from being with nature.
Supports and services offered through Footprints Support Services are delivered in line with NDIS guidelines and individually tailored to align with participants goals.
